The number of Disabled Facilities Grants carried out by East Midlands Local Authorities in 2006-07.
These are broken down into four cost bands:
- those costing under £1,000
- those costing between £1,001 and £4,000
- those costing between £4,001 and £10,000
- those costing over £10,000
Around half of the East Midlands Local Authorities have participated in a review of demand for Disabled Facilities Grants being carried out by Foundations in association with Jonathan Cope Consultantcy - their data is mapped here.
Each participating Local Authority has provided postcode data for each DFG carried out. Some of this data has not matched current postcode data and, in a very few cases, postcodes have been reported by a Local Authority that are actually located in an adjacent Local Authority area. Of 1752 records provided 1652 - 94.3% - have been matched successfully to census output areas and aggregated up to higher geographies.
